Other flavonoids and boron present in apples have been found to protect and strengthen bones. Apples together with other fruits such as bananas and strawberries have also been found to aid in weight loss, so you may add them to your daily eating plan. One of the other benefits that we may get from eating apples is the prevention of Alzheimer's disease. This disease is caused by free-radical damage of brain cells. Apples contain another flavonoid known as quercetin which may protect our brain cells from damage by free radicals.
